Fear and Fear of Failure can Overwhelmingly Impact What You Want

“Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” ~George Addair

“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.” ~Michael Jordan

Hi Diamond! Is Fear or Fear of Failure Impacting What You Want? Could it be fear that’s holding you back? Causing you dread, discomfort, doubt, anxiety, nervousness, intimidation or something else? That frightful False Evidence Appearing Real. Is it something that happened over a long period of time that may have discouraged you to not continue to try because you failed before? Remember, everyone fails at something, we’re mere mortals.

Every human being is important. You are important too. We’re important people sitting down to engage, learn, grow and discuss something of mutual interest and benefit with one another, we're living life together. If you are intimidated or nervous, just remember they may be too and they are still a human being with essentially the same interest, desires, and problems that life can bring us all. Be willing to dismantle what’s going on so that you can create an action plan on how to conquer it? Restructure that fear and expand your vision for yourself. “Fear does not have any special power unless you empower it by submitting to it.” (Les Brown)

Fear Can Immobilize You From Moving Forward

Fear is a natural feeling that warns us of imminent danger. However, that same feeling of fear can occur because you are afraid of taking that step that takes you out of your comfort zone and causes you discomfort, yet, there is no imminent danger. You have heard me say time and time again, “There is no growth in your comfort zone.”

That nervous and emotional fear can immobilize you from moving forward and can kill your hopes and dreams. This fear can be destructive and can hold you back from what you know you are far capable of. Feeling fear is inevitable, yet it is not a stop sign, you do not have to succumb to it. Put effort into what you have control of, like facing fear head on, feeling the fear and doing it anyhow. Every successful person has been afraid, I included, we’re all human. Keep working and taking risks anyway, because what you are trying to accomplish is much more important and urgent than your fear or your fear of failing in your attempts. “Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” (George Addair) Opportunity, Success, and Money are on the other side of fear. Financial Freedom is freedom from fear! Faith over fear, Courage over fear…Conquer your fear, take back your power and step out on faith!”

Your Mistakes Are a Part of Your Learning

You are going to experience failure from time to time, which too is inevitable. Give yourself permission to be imperfect, because we all are imperfect. Stay positive, take care of yourself, forget about being perfect, and always keep improving yourself. Accept your mistakes, learn from them and use them as an opportunity to grow. Your mistakes are a part of your learning; learn to be resilient in the face of your challenges. Be optimistic and look at failure as a learning opportunity. Take risk that is where the growth is. You learn by taking action and action requires moving forward and not waddling on what was for too long. The issue with not going for what you want a lot of the time is the fear factor attached to making changes, and what is at stake if things do not work out. But what, just what, would you do if the idea of failure were not part of your decision-making process?

Face Everything And Rise, the CHOICE is YOURS! Take your POWER BACK! God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) Self-compassion is empowering and can make you more resilient in the face of failure.
